Please enjoy your stay in Cape May! We ask that you try not to waste resources, including electricity and water. Our costs are one of the things we look at when setting rental fees for next year. Besides, the environment could use a break.
When you communicate with us that you would like to rent a week or more, we will send a lease for you to sign and return. The following is a summary of our house rules and policies:
Cancellation Policy - Guests who cancel 60 days or more before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 59 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund. A day ends at 11:59 pm Eastern Time or Eastern Daylight Time (which ever the cancellation falls on)
Check in time is Saturday after 4:00 pm Check out time is Saturday before 10:00 am
Maximum number of guests is 8 persons. Children are allowed. The primary renter should be a minimum of 24 years old.
Smoking and pets are not allowed - Some guests are allergic to pets and smoke and we ask that you be courteous of them.
Events are not allowed
Sand - Please rinse/brush off sand before entering the house. There is an outdoor shower and a hose for your use. This will help keep things clean and our indoor drains clear.
Trash - Trash must be placed in the green trash can located to the right of the driveway next to the garage. The can should be placed at the curb on Monday night. Trash pickup is Tuesday morning. Please return the can back beside the garage after pickup.
Recyclables - all recyclables must be placed in the blue can located to the right of the driveway next to the garage. DO NOT place recyclables in plastic bags. Recyclable pickup will be denied if items are in plastic bags. The can should be placed at the curb on Monday night. Recyclable pickup is Tuesday morning. Please return the can back beside the garage after pickup.
